For starters, my company, high FX media, focuses exclusively on WordPress consulting and training for small business owners, with 3 years in business to date. Prior to starting high FX media, I was a self-professed WordPress junkie, after spending 20+ years as an IT consultant and college instructor.

Q:Is this book for someone who’s just getting started with WordPress?

A: The book is intended for experienced WordPress users who want to kick it up a notch. That said, if you’re one of those people who like diving in whole hog, you can do this no problem. The book is step-by-step with lot’s of pictures. Go for it!

Q: What is the format of the book?

A: The book is in PDF format because it’s the most widely used and portable format. You’ll be able to download it immediately after purchasing the book. Adobe Acrobat is needed to open a PDF file and is available here.

Q: How much time will it take before I’m proficient in HTML + CSS?

A: That depends on your life at the current moment. Got kids and a full-time job? It’ll probably take you longer than someone who has no kids and works part-time. Makes sense, right?

Here’s a way to estimate how long it will take you. If you can dedicate 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday each weekend, you should have no problem cranking through this material in 5 weekends. That’s it, just 5 weekends. Many of you will be able to crank through it in much less time.
